It was a fabulous scene. The dark mountain had low clouds hanging over it. Strips of snow clung to the mountainsides. There were cabins down in the foreground. The small stream had stone-covered embankments.
We were in Lucerne and were on our way to the Lion Monument. On the way, we came upon the beautiful Church of St. Leodegar. It is also called the Hof Church. Originally built in 735, the present structure was erected in 1633. It is easily identifiable by its twin towers.

This river runs through the centre of Florence. The day was sunny and bright when we visited. There were colourful buildings to be seen alongside the river. Florence is a picturesque city. It was a nice day to explore.
Sree Ayyappa Temple is built in the style of Kerala temple architecture. The roof is covered with red clay tiles. There is a tall kodimaram (flagstaff) in front of the temple. On festival days, the outside walls of the temple are lit up using many small oil lamps. The temple was consecrated in 1995.
